One lane closed by broken down petrol tanker on coast-bound Thanet Way near Whitstable, towards Herne Bay

Police are managing traffic after a petrol tanker broke down on the Thanet Way.

One lane of the coast-bound A299 has been closed just after the Whitstable exit while the tanker is recovered.

Officers were called to deal with the incident at 9am. Traffic is moving well.
