Bryan Adams' scheduled appearance at The Spitfire Ground has been cancelled.
The Canadian rocker has shifted his planned 2021 UK tour back to next year, with the gig in Canterbury among three shows completely cancelled.
He has sold 100 million albums world wide and had been due to play at the Kent cricket ground on July 8.
Concerts originally scheduled in Bristol and Exeter have also been cancelled, while the majority of the shows have been pushed back to June 2022.
Indoor shows in Aberdeen, Hull, and London’s Royal Albert Hall had previously been pushed back to May 2022.
The booking of the rocker was the second major coup for the cricket club in a matter of months for the cricket club, after it announced in October that Michael Bublé would take the stage in the summer - but he, too, called it off last month.
Last year, Spitfire Ground bosses announced that it lost £2 million in revenue last summer, with the cancellation of cricket matches, conferences and money-spinning concerts, including Little Mix.
It has already staged performance by a long list of big-name stars, including Elton John, Simply Red, UB40, Sir Tom Jones and Steps.
Grammy award-winning Adams was expected to perform some of his best-known tunes, including Summer of '69, Heaven and (Everything I Do) I Do For You.
