Veterans proudly displayed their standards as they marched to Canterbury Cathedral for the annual Queen’s Own Buffs Regiment remembrance service and parade on Sunday.
Members from across the county marched from the Old Sessions House, led by the band of the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, to pay their respects to fallen comrades.
After a service led by Rev Mgr Stephen Alker, the veterans enjoyed lunch and an afternoon of military and jazz music at Leros Barracks.
Queen’s Own Buffs commanding officer Maj Dennis Bradley said: “This is the major event in our calendar and the numbers are always good even though our comrades are getting older.”
