A crash between a bus and a car sparked the closure of a main route into Canterbury this morning.
The smash outside the Ebury Hotel closed one lane of New Dover Road at about 8.40am, causing rush-hour traffic chaos.
The incident involved a Skoda and the number 16 Folkestone to Canterbury Stagecoach Gold bus.
A 70-year-old man was assessed and treated at the scene.
Stagecoach spokesman Divene Anderson said: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in a road traffic collision with a car on New Dover Road this morning.
"Emergency services attended the scene. However, there where no injuries sustained to anyone on board the bus.
"We are currently helping the police with their investigation into what happened.”
