Motorbike crash and bus 'hits wall' in Canterbury

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after a crash this evening.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the accident near Canterbury West train station just before 5pm after a car collided with a motorbike.

Station Road West is believed to have been shut.

The motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital.

Meanwhile a bus crashed into a wall in a separate incident nearby.

The bus accident has partially blocked St Peter's Street eastbound, with very slow traffic in the area.

It has caused delays between St Peter's Place and St Dunstan's Street.
