The B2248 St Stephen's Road will be closed for up to a week for water works.

The route is due to shut next Saturday (August 4) so South East Water can install a new water connection.

It will be closed east of the road's junction with Malthouse Road.

Alternative routes will be in place for all through traffic.

Limited local access to the remainder of St Stephen's Road will be available from either direction up to where the road is closed, and Malthouse Road can be accessed from a southern direction.
