A cannabis farm has been found hidden in woodland.
Police officers made the bizarre discovery in Thornden Wood between Canterbury and Herne Bay - where they found what appears to be a makeshift hut, along with camouflage suits.
In a tweet, police in Canterbury said they uncovered a "network of concealed structures, cannabis plants, grow sites, dug-in water sources and ghillie suits".
Often used by military personnel and nature photographers, ghillie suits are a type of camouflage clothing that are designed to resemble background environments - typically made of netting, with strips of cloth attached so as to look like foliage.
Police seized about 30 cannabis plants from "in and around a concealed tent" on Sunday afternoon, and dismantled the site.
Inspector Guy Thompson, of Canterbury’s community safety unit, said: "We are pleased to have disrupted and removed this site from the area and prevented these illegal drugs from potentially being sold in our communities.
"I would like to thank the public for their vigilance and ask anyone with concerns about possible drug dealing or cultivation in their area to contact us so that we can investigate."
An investigation into the site is ongoing, and officers are urging anyone with information to contact the police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/88535/20.
