Canterbury City preserved their unbeaten record in Kent County League, Division 1 East after Ben Smith converted a 90th-minute penalty to secure a 3-3 draw against Kennington.
The result means that City now need three points from their three remaining games to be sure of the title.
City started strongly and took a two-goal lead after Dave Read and Wayne Fittall both got on the scoresheet.
The home side pulled a goal back when Steve Rice fired home from the penalty spot.
In the second half, Kennington pulled level when Rice grabbed his second.
Kennington continued to push forward and went ahead for the first time when a corner was deflected in for an own goal.
City pushed forward in search of an equaliser and were greatly relieved when the referee awarded them a last minute penalty for handball. Smith (pictured) stepped up and fired home to ensure they took a point.
