A radio listener has started the weekend with big boost to his bank balance after pocketing a cash prize in kmfm's '£1,000 Friday'.
The hugely popular competition, which attracts thousands of entrants, invites people to enter to win the jackpot to spend however they would like.
Today, Yuganshu Nagori from Canterbury was the lucky to claim the prize.
He received a surprise call from kmfm Drivetime presenter Stephen Sullivan this evening.
Shocked at winning, Yuganshu said he will likely use the cash for trips to either Scotland or Ireland.
Over a 24 period from Thursday 6pm, listeners are invited to enter via text or online, with one person chosen at random.
The competition will return in November.
Further chances to win cash come from Monday with another £1,000 to win on 'Say It', and in December kmfm will be giving listeners the chance to win £2,000 for Christmas.
