Canterbury Ladies suffered a 4-1 defeat to Slough to slip to fifth in National Women's Premier Division at Polo Farm on Sunday afternoon.

The Berkshire side were two goals to the good at half-time and it was 3-0 before Kathleen Taylor pulled one back for the hosts shortly after the hour mark.

However Slough added a fourth from a penalty corner just three minutes later to extend Canterbury's run to just one win in five games.

They can however re-take fourth place with a win at rivals the University of Birmingham in their penultimate game of the season on Sunday.
