Canterbury power through the Bracknell defence during Saturday's victory
Canterbury passed the 100-try mark as they claimed their 16th successive National League 3 London & South East win with a 50-35 victory over Bracknell.
Slack tackling handed the visitors the opening try, before Canterbury hit back through Ricky Mackintosh followed by a catch and drive score from the returning Peter Kelly. Bracknell crossed the line again, as did Martyn Beaumont and Wim Baars for the hosts, before the half-time break.
Canterbury's lead was reduced to three points at the start of the second period, but Beaumont and Baars both touched down for Canterbury. Sam Rogers' yellow card, however, spurred Bracknell on and they scored another try to make things interesting.
The decisive scores came from fly-half Tom Best, with a thrilling individual break, and the sin-binned Rogers who a minute after returning to action intercepted a pass on half way and ran on to score unopposed.
Best (3) and Beaumont (2) converted five of the city side's eight tries but the visitors made the final statement with a converted score.
