A driver was left trapped after a car landed on its side outside a Tesco Metro.

The Renault ended up on the pavement in Canterbury city centre.

Two fire engines were sent to bizarre incident in Rose Lane just after 3.30pm.

Two bollards have been uprooted and paving slabs have been forced up from the ground.

The trapped driver has been passed into the care of SECAmb.
