A three-car smash caused traffic chaos on the M2 at Faversham this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Junction 5 of the coastbound carriageway after a car flipped onto its roof at 8am.

One lane was closed for more than two hours and a speed restriction of 40mph was enforced until the road was cleared.

No serious injuries were reported.
