Birchington: Three-car crash prompts emergency response

Police are at the scene of a reported three-car smash which has closed a main road.

The crash happened on the A28, Canterbury Road in Birchington, outside the Shell petrol station at 4.20pm.

Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Officers and the South East Ambulance Service are currently attending the scene."
