CCTV image released following reports of hate crime at Canterbury gift shop

CCTV images of two people have been released after a pair of shoppers ‘became aggressive while waiting in a queue’ at a gift shop.

It was reported that between 5.10pm and 5.15pm on May 4, a group of people were verbally abused by two others at a business in Canterbury.

The shoppers reportedly became aggressive while waiting to be served in Siesta Crafts in Palace Street and the abuse was understood to be racially aggravated.

As part of their inquiries into the public order incident, officers have been able to obtain CCTV images of a man and a woman they would like to identify, as they may have information which could assist the investigation.
