CCTV image issued following reported phone theft from University of Kent campus in Canterbury

Police investigating reports of a phone theft at a university have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Officers were contacted following the incident earlier this month on the University of Kent campus in Canterbury.

A victim reported her mobile phone had been stolen from a table in a building on the site.

It is alleged to have happened just after 2pm on Friday, November 3.

Police have subsequently released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Anyone who recognises him, or who has any other information, is urged to call the police.
