A Kent entrepreneur is honouring his pledge of a lifetime's supply of free chocolate brownies to a plucky punter - who's donating the lot to charity.
Edd Withers is in the process of setting up Bake Mates - a firm in Canterbury delivering sweets and munchies direct to customers' doors.
Mr Withers accepted an online challenge from sweet-toothed Bradley Williams, who claimed he could get 20,000 likes, 10,000 comments and 5,000 shares for Bake Mates' Facebook page.
"I told him he had two days, and if he managed it he would get a life's supply of brownies," said Mr Withers.
"I never thought he'd do it and to be honest he's absolutely smashed it!"
Mr Withers was waiting to thrash out arrangements with Mr Williams on how the supply will work.
But Mr Williams has since been in touch and said he'd like to donate the lot to a homeless charity.
According to Bake Mates' Facebook page:
"Bake Mates have been in touch with our local shelter, Catching Lives, and are making arrangements for a shedload of brownies, muffins, cakes and more, to be delivered this weekend.
"We hope it cheers everyone up, puts smiles on faces, and inspires many more to give to those in need. Bradley, we salute you."
Bake Mates will launch serving the Canterbury area in around a fortnight. For more information visit bakemates.co.uk
