A highly anticipated water park - the first of its kind in the UK - has announced plans to open at a fresh location.
The Inflatable Fun Park was set to welcome its first guests this summer in Ramsgate – but unexpected circumstances railroaded the plans.
Yet now, the park will throw open its doors at the Aylesham Welfare Leisure Centre near Canterbury on August 3, featuring bespoke attractions.
It will include multiple huge blow-up moveable pools, slides and paddle boats which, uniquely, can be set up on dry land.
There will also be a toddler area, football inflatable zone, minigolf, NERF battle zone and more.
The business has come all the way from Australia and is the brainchild of Craig White, who lived in Canterbury before relocating to Melbourne in 2015.
The 32-year-old said: “We are overwhelmed by the support of the local community in Aylesham, we've been heavily supported to date and are looking forward to working with the team at Aylesham Welfare Leisure Centre.
“It’s a local charity providing fantastic facilities for the community and has some very exciting plans for the future too.
“The range of food and beverages on site will be fantastic for our customers and it really adds to the experience.
“A lot of the locals have never been here, so hopefully having an attraction like this will also help Aylesham Welfare Leisure Centre in gaining some further exposure to the great work they are doing.”
The park was due to open at Under One Roof, but Mr White has said he cannot reveal the reasons behind the move at this time.
After operating throughout August, it is hoped the attraction will return for the following two summers.
As well as the Canterbury site, there are “tentative plans” for a further two UK locations next year.
Mr White previously told KentOnline: “It's a bespoke inflatable water park with various pools, slides and a range of other fun family attractions.
“This is the first water park of its kind in the UK.”
