Annabelle Pearson and Carmel
Downey at the Kent Beer Festival
A sell-out crowd of more than
7,000 people enjoyed the three-day Kent Beer Festival. By the time
last orders were called on Saturday evening most pumps had run
dry.
The chilled out atmosphere at
Merton Farm, Canterbury, provided the perfect environment to sit
back, relax and sample more than 100 real ales, 20 ciders and 30
foreign beers.

the festival's appeal and watch what went on.
The festival, organised by the
Campaign for Real Ale, is designed to be a family-friendly event
with entertainment including the Kent circus school and
archery.
CAMRA marketing manager Simon Reed
said: "It has been a highly popular and successful event that
just goes to show how much we love Kent pubs and the local beer
industry."
