AISSA DEBY: did not call her home in France on her son's birthday

A FRENCH woman working and studying in Kent has gone missing.

Aissa Deby, 24, was last seen at the Tesco Metro store in the centre of Canterbury at around 4.30pm on Sunday, March 20, when she told a friend she was going back to her home in Cherry Drive.

She has not been seen since. Nor has she contacted friends or family.

Police are especially worried as Miss Deby did not call her home in France over the weekend for the birthday of her four-year-old son.

Miss Deby, who had been staying with a friend for a few days before her disappearance, works at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and is also learning English.

She is Afro-Caribbean, has dark eyes, and is 5ft 5ins tall. She has dark hair with braided extensions and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and black trousers.

Anyone who has seen Miss Deby or knows where she is asked to call police 01227 762055.
