A Covid-secure pantomime will be showing this Christmas despite others across the county being cancelled.
The socially distanced production of Beauty and the Beast at the Malthouse Theatre in Canterbury will be showcasing a strictly limited run from December 11.
There will be one-way systems and regular cleaning to ensure audience safety, and refunds will be given if performances are unable to take place.
It will feature a host of West End stars, such as panto dame Paul Tate, Sinead Kenny who starred in Disney's Aladdin and Jonathan Carlton who appeared in Kinky Boots.
Organisers say it will boast "dazzling sets and costumes, side splitting comedy and catchy songs".
Performances will have no intermission and last for about one hour and 15 minutes.
Tickets are sold in blocks of between two and six seats, with prices starting from £33.50 for 2 people - with only 130 available for each performance.
They will go on sale on Thursday at the Malthouse box office on 01227 287234 or online by clicking here .
It comes after Kent’s biggest pantomime was cancelled for the first time ever amid uncertainty surrounding the reopening of theatres because of social distancing.
The Marlowe in Canterbury had been forced to postpone its production of Jack and the Beanstalk until 2021.
