A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car, which was not at the scene when officers arrived.

Police were called to Rheims Way in Canterbury at 12.10pm.

One of two lanes after the roundabout near Victoria Memorial Recreation Ground was blocked and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital.

The car involved was not at the scene when officers arrived and inquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.
