A busy route is now clear, after it was blocked in a crash early this morning.

The A28 Island Road in Upstreet was clogged up after the crash near Nethergong Hill.

Police were called to the two-car accident just before 5.30am.

There were no reported injuries, but the cars were blocking the road while they waited to be recovered.
