A crash caused delays on the A299 Thanet Way at Whitstable this morning after a car hit the central reservation on the London bound carriageway.

The male driver was treated by paramedics for an injured arm and slow-moving was backed up while police cleared the vehicle and debris from the road.

There were also long delays on the M2 between Faversham and Sittingbourne last night following a collision on the coastbound carriageway.
