A crash between two cars on a main road has resulted in four people being rushed to hospital.
The accident happened in Island Road, just past Hersden, at about 6pm yesterday.
The injuries sustained aren't life threatening, according to Kent Police.
A spokesman said: "We were called at 5.53pm on Saturday, February 3 to a collision on the A28 Island Road, near Upstreet.
"The collision involved two vehicles, a Mercedes and a Ford Fiesta.
"Officers and Secamb attended the scene and road closures were put in place.
"Four people were taken to hospital, none are believed to have suffered any life threatening injuries.
"The road was reopened at around 10.30pm."
Traffic was diverted from Staines Hill until the road was reopened.
