Fire crews have managed to extinguish a loft blaze.

They were alerted to the incident at a property in Barham near Canterbury after 5.30pm yesterday.

Two fire engines were sent to the scene, where they saw smoke emerging from the roof.

They managed to tackle the blaze and isolate the electrical supply in about half an hour.

There are no reports of casualties.
