Police were called to a collision involving a car and cyclist on a main road near Canterbury this afternoon.

The accident happened on the A28 near Upstreet at about 2.43pm, with police and ambulance crews both attending.

It is not known whether there were any serious injuries.

A Kent Police spokesman said the road was clear again by 4.13pm.
