Traffic was disrupted during the Christmas Eve rush after a cyclist is thought to have been knocked off their bike at a busy junction.

The accident happened at the Wincheap Roundabout close to Aldi in Canterbury coming off Pin Hill shortly before 1.30pm.

Emergency services are understood to be heading to the scene.

It was unclear if anyone had been seriously injured.
