Delays into Canterbury after cyclist knocked off bike on Island Road, Hersden

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car along a major road.

Two ambulances were called at around 8am after the crash in Island Road, Hersden.

Police have confirmed the road has now re-opened and traffic has cleared.

The man's injuries are not thought to be serious.
