The 17-year-old youth who died in a crash at Stelling Minnis has been named on social networking site Facebook as Craig Duffett from Sidcup.

Kent Police say the crash happened at around 12.15am on Saturday in Bossingham Road.

The teenage victim was a passenger in a Ford Focus which overturned.

Another youth and two girls in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Kent Police spokesman Rosemary Alexander said she could not say how the crash happened or why the group had been in the area.

The road was closed for around six hours while Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit examined the scene.
