A delivery driver was attacked by a gang while waiting in his car outside a takeaway.
Police have arrested an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy following the assault in Sturry Road, Canterbury.
A delivery man was sitting in a car outside a takeaway restaurant when three men attacked him.
A member of the public was able to help the victim get away from the gang and phone the police.
The suspects were reported to have left in the Kingsmead direction.
The victim suffered a superficial wound to his arm during the attack last night between 10pm and 10.50pm.
All three suspects were described as being about 5ft 6ins with black hair and two were described as slim and aged in their late teens.
The first suspect was wearing a black jacket, grey trousers, a black hat and carrying a black bag.
The second suspect was reported to be wearing a black T-shirt and brown trousers.
The third suspect was medium build, believed to be about 25, had a beard and was thought to be wearing a blue shirt.
An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Canterbury have been arrested in connection with the assault.
Det Insp Julien Lawton said: "Two arrests have been made already but we are keen to hear from anyone who might have information regarding this incident.
"Witnesses to the assault or anyone who was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage which could assist our enquiries is asked to come forward."
