A FORMER East Kent GP jailed for indecently assaulting his female patients has been released after three years in prison.
Clifford Ayling, 72, was jailed for four years in December 2000 for 13 indecent assaults on 10 of his patients during the 1990s.
Ayling was first released in August this year but was returned to jail for breaking his parole conditions after three weeks, by calling himself "Doctor" when struck off.
Following his conviction, Ayling was struck off the medical register and the General Medical Council's professional conduct committee said his actions constituted "criminal indecency of a particularly wicked kind".
