The hunt is on for the unsung heroes of the district.
The Lord Mayor’s Award scheme, now in its 11th year, aims to reward those whose efforts have made a difference to other people’s lives.
There is no age limit but the nominees must live in Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay or villages in the district.
The Lord Mayor, Cllr Carolyn Parry, said: “Over the last eight months I have met so many wonderful people working tirelessly to help others.
“This award scheme is our way of thanking them for all that they do.”
The nominations will be judged by the Lord Mayor and a representative from each political group on the city council.
