The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, is urging us to take time to get clear about what matters to us.
He made the plea in an interview with the KM Group just before Christmas.
He said: "Take time to work out your priorities, take to work out what really matters."

This year has been especially busy for Dr Williams with the Lambeth Conference in Canterbury over the summer.
More recently Dr Williams has given his views on the economic downturn, the invasion of Iraq and the disestablishment of the Church of England.
In looking back at 2008, The Archbishop said the two most significant public events of the year have been the credit crunch and the US presidential election.
Christmas Day for Dr Williams will involve a visit to Canterbury prison to take a service for the inmates, the Christmas service at Canterbury Cathedral and a visit to the city's homeless centre for Christmas dinner.
