A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car smashed into a fence.

Police were called to the scene of the crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa in Nargate Street, Littlebourne, at 11.10pm yesterday.

After arriving at the Canterbury village, officers apprehended a 31-year-old man.

A police spokesman said the suspect has been bailed until March 10.
