A new drive-in cinema is set to launch at a city car park.
A massive LED screen is being installed in Canterbury 's New Dover Road park and ride site, where a series of blockbusters will be shown across four days.
The city's first-ever drive-in cinema is launching on Thursday, September 24 with Onward and Back to the Future.
The attraction is being organised by Kent Drive-In Cinema in collaboration with City Sound Project and the city council.
Blake McCaskill from the City Sound Project said a section of the car park had been set aside for the cinema which can accommodate up to 250 cars.
"It's quite an expensive thing to put on so tickets cost £30 per car but we hope people will find it a unique, new experience," he said.
"Judging from the response we've had on social media there is a huge amount of interest."
Mr McCaskill says the huge digital screen measures 12mx9m and the sound can be relayed through a car's speakers.
Cinema-goers will also be able to order food online and have it delivered to their vehicles.
Other films due to be shown include Toy Story 4, Dirty Dancing, The Greatest Showman and A Star is Born.
Tickets are on sale now.
