E-fit released following Lego distraction burglary in Reed Avenue, Canterbury

Police have issued a computer-generated image of a man who pretended to be selling Lego during a distraction burglary.

The man stole "a large quantity of cash" from a woman's home in Reed Avenue, Canterbury on Wednesday May 22.

He is said to have snatched a woman's handbag after he was invited into the house.

The man asked the resident if they wanted to buy the building blocks before running off with the cash inside the bag.

Officers have now released an e-fit in the hope the suspected thief can be identified.

Witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area shortly before the burglary took place are also asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/98022/19.
