Eliza Brett scored twice as EuroCanterbury Ladies beat Olton & West Warwicks 3-0 to maintain their hopes of a top-four finish in the Investec Women's Premier Division at Polo Farm on Saturday.
They went close several times in a goalless first half before teenager Brett, just back from England squad training, made the breakthrough by converting a penalty corner.
Great Britain goalkeeper Abi Walker made a fine double save, first with her body and then her foot, to stop a rare Olton attack.
Kirsty Chambers added the second, following another penalty corner eight minutes later, and Brett, a pupil at Kings School Canterbury, got the third with a free-hit to complete the eight minute scoring burst.
The win leaves Canterbury third, a point clear of Clifton, with leaders Reading and second placed Leicester also winning.
