An army of emergency services joined forces to help rescue a woman who slipped and injured her ankle.
It is understood she had fallen on the marshes at Faversham Creek at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
She was then taken by boat to Iron Bar Wharf so firefighters and paramedics could reach her more easily.
Whitstable’s specialist marine rescue unit joineds their colleagues from Faversham fire station and ambulance crews at the creek side.
The injured woman was then winched up onto dry land and taken to hospital to receive treatment.
The rescue took around 40 minutes.
