Faversham Town are 90 minutes away from the Ryman League, Premier Division.
The Lilywhites are up against Maidstone United in the final of the Division 1 South play-offs on Saturday after knocking out Hythe in midweek.
Standing on the brink of a third promotion since their resurrection eight years ago, Faversham are set for the biggest game in their history in front of a huge crowd at the Gallagher Stadium.
Around 2,200 fans are expected to pack into the Stones’ home ground for the final, which will send one Kent club into the third tier of non-league football.
Faversham boss Ray Turner (pictured) said: "We’re underdogs and it doesn’t bother me either way. It’s a showcase event for us.
"To go to that stadium in front of 2,000-plus, the boys deserve it. I just hope they relax enough to show what they’re all about.
"It’s a great ground and it’s a great experience for me as a manager to go to a place like that, an ex-League club that have gone back into their town.
"They’re ready for the move up but it’s up to us to do something about that."
This season is only Turner’s second as a manager. Faversham finished 17th in the league last term but he has transformed them into one of the county’s most progressive clubs.
Having originally come to Salters Lane as a youth development officer, Turner said: "The club was virtually extinct in 2005.
"We’ve come through two county leagues and we’ve not only established ourselves as a Ryman club, we’ve become a genuine contender for promotion. That’s quite a story."
Faversham will take heart from their 2-1 win at the Gallagher Stadium last month, although defender Ashley Brown is a doubt after twisting his ankle against Hythe.
