Faversham Town boss Ray Turner wants his side to continue their positive momentum and go on an unbeaten run ahead of their next FA Cup engagement.
Town progressed from the preliminary round with a 1-0 win at Raynes Park Vale on Saturday and face a trip to Ryman League, Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic later this month.
However, Turner (pictured) has called on his players to take the momentum from their back-to-back wins into their next Division 1 South games.
Town face a trip to Walton & Hersham on Saturday before the visit of Whyteleafe on Tuesday, with all three sides boasting identical records so far this season.
Turner said: “It is certainly nice to get a couple of wins. The players have responded well and things are feeling very positive.
“It is important not to get too far detached in the table and a couple of wins at this stage really changes the look of the league table.
“But the other two teams will be thinking the same thing.
“We’d like nothing more than to go into the FA Cup game on the back of four games unbeaten.”
Turner will need to shuffle his pack this weekend after losing key players Damian Abel and Simon Brown to injury during the opening half at Raynes Park.
Abel faces two weeks out with a hamstring injury while Brown could be out for a similar spell, though an X-ray showed no serious damage to his ankle.
Turner said: “We have got a small squad this year, but we are looking to bring youth and reserve players through which is what we have been working on with the structure of the club.”
Reserve forward Tommy Hill is set to be called-up while Tom Axford – fresh from progression to the regional round of the England Schoolboys trials – could also feature.
