A missing man who disappeared from his Lydd home has been found.

Police issued an appeal for the 46-year-old man last week after he was last seen leaving the house in Coast Drive at 4.30pm on Tuesday, August 23.

Today police announced he had been found safe and well.

Officers said it was out of character and were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
