The fire service has been pictured forcing entry into an empty shop with what appears to be crowbars.

Crews were seen in Canterbury earlier this afternoon.

They were forcing entry into the former Nasons store, which has been shut for years.

The nature of the incident is unknown but a witness says the fire crews have crowbars.

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
