Car crashes into tree in Hoath Canterbury

A woman has been cut out of her car after she crashed into a tree this afternoon.

Fire crews were called to Hoath at the junction of Maypole Road and Maypole Lane, Hoath at around 1.15pm.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to remove the roof of the car to rescue the young woman.

The driver was treated for minor injuries by paramedics.

Firefighters made the area safe and left the scene at around 3pm.
