Firefighters took on a blaze in a living room early this morning.
They were called out to a two-storey property in Wincheap, Canterbury, at exactly 5.57am.
Two fire engines were sent out and crews tackled the flames using equipment such as a high pressure hosereel jet.
They also wore breathing apparatus.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire has not yet been established."
Crews were at the scene for almost exactly an hour.
