A stray firework set light to a shed at 7.20pm on Guy Fawkes night.
By the time firefighters arrived at Pretoria Road, Canterbury, the shed was completely ablaze.
They spent 30 minutes tackling the flames, which also affected garden decking and a small section of the roof of the house.
