Fifty lucky residents have the chance to get their hands on free ice skating tickets.
Canterbury is set to get its own enclosed skating arena this festive season.
The rink - dubbed Canterbury on Ice - is being delivered by the firm behind hit ITV programme Dancing on Ice, and will be large enough to cater for 140 skaters per session.
Today, the city council has launched a competition offering 50 local people the chance to be the first on the ice, before the attraction opens to the public.
Winners will enjoy an exclusive skating session for up to four people, at an exclusive launch event at 4pm on November 29.
Canterbury on Ice, which will be located in The Dane John Gardens, which is set to be transformed into a wintry wonderland, with festive food, drink, music and lights.
The competition is running until November 1, and is open to Canterbury district residents only. Enter at canterburyonice.co.uk/competition.
