A GAS leak has caused rush-hour chaos in Whitstable.
Police have closed the Old Thanet Way between Tesco and the Long Reach pub while repairmen tackle the problem.
Officers arrived on the scene at 8.30am after they were alerted by gas men.
Work is still ongoing.
