KENT Police are appealing for information after a 23-year-old man was attacked with a glass in a Kent nightclub.

The incident happened at Canterbury’s Chicago Rock night spot in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police say the victim was treated in hospital for cuts to the head.

Door staff ejected another man from the club shortly after the incident, but when he reached the front door he ran off. Police and staff chased him and a man was arrested at the graveyard in Longport.

A 20-year-old from Ashford was arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.
