TV fashion guru Gok Wan will be leading a 'drag showdown' in Kent next week.
He will be one of 20,000 people expected at Pride Canterbury as the city becomes a riot of rainbow colours.
The former How to Look Good Naked presenter will be a special guest at the county's biggest LGBT festival, where he will be playing music and hosting lip sync battles.
Organisers are particularly buoyant after securing a headline sponsor for the event, believing the support of Strutt and Parker will further boost the reputation of the festival.
Edd Withers, chair of the organising committee, said: “It’s really good news for us because it has set a bar that will get lots of attention from other sponsors and hopefully we will be able to continue a really good working relationship with Strutt & Parker.
“It gives us a bit of relief knowing that we’re going to be able to continue doing this for years to come.
“The main Pride event will always be free to come to and it’s only thanks to the sponsors that we can do that.”
Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle and chart toppers Big Brovaz and Booty Luv will be performing at Pride next Saturday (June 15).
Festivities start at 11am in the Dane John Gardens, with a parade making its way through the high street at midday.
